Im really proud of this , took me over 10 hours to do.
I used a LOT of textures and I liked doing the rain.

A comment would be great thanks. :star:

very dark and cold looking picture (which I think is what you were aiming for). The rain we see falling is good, and the 'glow' around him from the water hitting him is a nice touch.

Cheeers for the comment. I named the shop in the background a toyshop next to the abandoned kid on the streets. Its like the jealousy thing when its really hot and you see someone eating a refreshing white ice cream and you really want one! lol

Thankies, :D After reading Jane Austen and Christina Rossetti, I became of victorian stuff. :) I like the snobbish rich victorian way of speaking, haha :)
Texturing is okay, you just need to find a good texture, copy and paste it into your picture, make sure its the right size and mask it onto the area you want to go on. After that you set the layer type to overlay and experiement with the opacity to make it less/more visible, hope that helps? :)

Victorian clothing are awesome  Elizabethan and Tudor ain't too bad, but I'm not too fond of those frills :iconwthplz:
ugh...I can't stand masking x__x it's always been a mystery to me when I first started cging xD I tend to avoid it
Layer clipping will work the same way....right? ^^; (That's how I typically try it anyways xD)

Layer clipping, I think so= yes.
I never draw masks, lol, though sometimes I draw one eye and cover the other eye with shadow. I think its kinda cool but sometimes its cause I have problems making them perfectly symetrical! haha
I think its funny how you cross things out :D

Yes, I love old clothing, i think little kids look sweet in it because sometimes they wear smart clothes hehe :)
Even working class children look kinda smart

PS: I just realised after writing this how blonde i am. Ofcourse you were talking about CG maskingHAHAH! *feels like a fool* :fork:
